Prep Notes

The IMMUNITY HEALTH SHOT can be taken daily to keep your immune system working at its peak; especially during the cold winter months.

It is not a pleasant tasting mixture - so feel free to 'save' it as a special emergency boost at the first sign of scratchy throat, or stopped up head - the common indicators of the onset of illness.

The recipe below makes two servings and can easily be cut in half for one serving - or doubled for four servings and so on depending on how many people you are serving at any given time.

Cooking Time

RAW

Yields

2 Servings

Ingredients

Immunity Health Shot

  • 1 cup fresh filtered water
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons fresh minced ginger (about a 2-3 inch peeled chunk)
  • Juice 1 lemon
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoon organic apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoons raw organic honey

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients - except the honey - into 8 ounces of filtered water
  2. Pour the mixture into a small food processor, or Ninja and run it for a minute or so to blend thoroughly.
  3. Use a fine-mesh strainer and strain the blended mixture. Straining helps make the IMMUNITY HEALTH SHOT easier to drink as swallowing the pulp of ginger and garlic can be quite difficult for most folks. Blending the ingredients adds all the vitamin goodness to the finished product without loses any of its potency.
  4. Separate into two servings into two glasses.
  5. Add one teaspoon of raw organic honey into each serving, stir thoroughly and serve.
  6. Have an additional tall glass of filtered water to drink right after taking the IMMUNITY HEALTH SHOT.

You can double or triple this recipe and keep refrigerated for convenience.

Immunity Shots can be utilized 2 - 3 times daily until all symptoms go away.

TIPS:

Grating Fresh Ginger

It will take 2 - 3 inches of fresh pealed ginger to equal two teaspoons. A little extra garlic & ginger in the recipe is fine.

Use the fine side of a grater

In order to utilize fresh ginger use the finest side of a food grater and grate the ginger; removing fibers & scraping grated pulp from the grater.

Utilize a blender or small food processor to mix thoroughly - and then strain before serving. Blending in this fashion adds to the potency of the finished product - not to mention it makes it easier to drink!
