
Is there such a thing as Flu Season...?
Or is this the time of year the weather turns colder and the added stress of preparing for the holidays wears down an already compromised immune system and more people get sick?
Personally, I believe this is the reason so many people get sick in the winter months.
This is the time of year we are urged by TV commercials, medical personnel, doctors and pharmacies to get a flu shot.
Are flu shots a good idea?
Some say yes. While others emphatically say "No!"
You may have a strong opinion on this topic. Or, you may not think too much about it. For those of you with inquiring minds who want to know the truth of the efficacy of flu vaccines see the facts listed at the end of this article.
